The inspiration behind Seoul is to create a salon environment where style and inner and outer beauty together can make a great experience. After working in corporate, private, chain, and hair restoration salons, I decided it was time to reinvent my personal style from the inside out. With the help of family and friends we’ve made it possible to customize style with color and cuts to enhance personal beauty. Come experience and look into Seoul to combine your own inner and outer beauty. I hope you enjoy Seoul as much as I do! About me: I’m adopted Korean-American. I went to beauty school and found out that it was my passion. I’ve been in the professional salon industry since 2001. In 2007 I decided to venture off onto my own and open Seoul. I love every aspect of doing hair from the beginning to the end. I’m very experienced in all aspects of the salon industry. I enjoy what I do, and it’s not a job, it’s my passion. I love making my guests feel like a million bucks inside and out! Seeing my guests leave with an extra bounce in their step, there is no price tag for that! I try not to take life too seriously anymore...because it’s better to laugh and have tons of friends!

SANDRA BRICK Textile Artist Textured Elements 416 E Hennepin Ave Minneapolis, MN 55414 P: 612-378-2335 E: sandrabrick@texturedelements.com W: www.texturedelements.com
What if grass were red? What if water ran up hill? What if turtles flew? My never-ending exploration of "what if?" is the playful essence of my craft.
The artistic challenge for me is to capture space, to give the viewer a sense of the invisible. I study color, space, texture, and mood to improve my ability to see - to really see what "is"-a first step in creating what "can be." The finished work uses texture and color to lead the viewer into and through the work. Space is manipulated to create three dimensional tactile sculptures one wants to touch.
My work can be seen in the Minneapolis Institute of Art, fine art galleries and shops. I've taught workshops and exhibited my work on four continents. Currently I teach classes and workshops and respond to commissioned requests.
An intuitive fascination with color was encouraged at home through food. As the oldest of six children I was often the chef of the family--even as a young lass! My decisions about the ingredients of salads were determined by color. Cookie decorations and dinners were based on color. Entire menus were based on the color impact of the presentation. And that led to a University of Minnesota degree in Design and Textiles.
Additional University research developed my expertise in an unusual sideline. As one of the top ten national experts regarding the history of Women Inventors in America, I've had the opportunity to travel to Finland, Israel and Malaysia as a lecturer, teacher and consultant. I have designed many exhibitions about women inventors including "A Woman's Place is in the Patent Office," the centerpiece exhibition of the U.S. Patent Office Bicentennial celebration.

VERA SNOW Women's Development Facilitator Certified Spiritual Director 2531 Zenith Ave. N. Golden Valley, MN 55422 P: 763.522.9009 E: vera@verasnow.com W: www.verasnow.com
After losing my mother to ovarian cancer when I was just 19 years old and my mother only 55, I became very curious about energy drainage, stress and burnout in women. After becoming a mother myself, I soon became aware of my own energy waning as I noticed the same care-taking patterns in myself that I had learned from both my mother and grandmother. Trying to undo that which ran generations deep, I sought out both counseling and spiritual direction. I also read every self-help and parenting book I could get my hands on! Sensing a re-birth of energy within, I learned to gently foster, nurture and build upon it. In honor of this new life energy, I decided to pursue a five year spiritual direction training program at Sacred Ground Center for Spirituality in St. Paul. I also completed an MA in Human Development from St. Mary's University of Minnesota. Focusing my thesis on Healing the Mary/Martha Struggle in Women, I now speak, write and facilitate groups that encourages a growing awareness of the Spirit in everyday living.

Wendy Louise Nag is completing a Master of Science degree in Technology Management at St. Thomas University. She has been an Information & Communication Technology (ICT) Consultant for more than ten years, specializing in online technology, and has worked with a wide range of clients, from independent business owners to the UN. She is originally from Northern Minnesota, but lived in the Bay Area from the early 1990’s until she married in 2005. She is the mother of three and the newest addition was born in April.
Wendy reclaimed her life after surviving a traumatic and violent childhood, and views herself as proof that you should never doubt the beauty that you believe is inside you. Wendy’s current project is the launching of Emerge (www.emerge-msp.com), on July 1, an online Twin Cities directory and community of resources for new and expecting parents. Her focus is on local and independent businesses and artisans, and service providers that support women-centered birthing, successful breastfeeding, and family and newborn bonding.
She has a special interest in projects with a social agenda and leans left. She enjoys fine food of course, the New York Times, running, cycling, reading, has traveled extensively, and relies on humor to get through the day.
